Diagnosed at age 44
At 44, I got the news no one wants to hear: breast cancer. It was scary, overwhelming, and honestly, some days I didn’t know how I’d get through. But something deep inside me kept saying, ‘You’ve got this.’ I leaned on my family, friends, co-workers and strangers. I found strength I didn’t know I had, and I trusted that life still had more in store for me. This journey wasn’t just about surviving—it was about rediscovering myself. Cancer tested me, but it also showed me how powerful hope, resilience, and a little faith in the unknown can be. And now, here I stand—living proof that even the toughest battles can reveal our brightest selves.
