Diagnosed at age 29
I was diagnosed at 29 years old with invasive ductal carcinoma. I found a lump and was referred for a mammogram which came back suspicious. I was sent for a biopsy two days later, and my world came crashing down in flames. I wasn’t sure that I was strong enough for this journey; however, I just finished active treatment (chemotherapy and radiation) and am currently undergoing hormone therapy. Hold onto hope.
