Diagnosed at age 37
I was a single mom about to celebrate my 37th birthday when I accidentally found a lump, just 5 months after having a mammogram. After a month of thinking, “It’ll go away,” I was diagnosed with stage 2 cancer. That taught me the importance of self-examination, and that was 20 years ago!
