Diagnosed at age 44
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2014. The months after were filled with a mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation. Cancer changed me in many ways, the best being that I am stronger than I ever imagined, and I have no question as to what or who is important to me. My dream is that my daughters grow older in a world where breast cancer has a simple cure.
