My Story
Lehigh County
Diagnosed at age 36
I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at the age of 40. Nevertheless, what I think that would be my beginning of my new start of life, it actually was a change. I had 3 kids graduated high school. I was ready to take on the world. Cancer has really made a differences in my life, for good and bad. But I don’t let that stop me. I get up everyday with a positive attitude. I always keep my faith, not saying it is easy but what can I do. I share my smile with everyone. I always find something to do that will keep me helping others. I work, have a dance team and just finished my B.A. Now i’m back in school for my Master’s. I know cancer is a serious situation but I take it with smile and grace, and a positive attitude. I have a lot of faith in my life. This journey is not easy. Sometimes the best thing you can do is love yourself and thank God for seeking you as a testimony.
