Diagnosed at age 67
Dealing with triple-negative breast cancer is a full-time job with overtime that receives no compensation. I have had a lumpectomy, and later, a mastectomy. During this journey I have come to appreciate more in life that I had previously taken for granted. When I ring that bell at the end of radiation, I will feel like the champion in the center of the cancer fighting ring. Move over Rocky—Kiki is here to stay!
