Diagnosed at age 44
I had a tough road of surgery, mastectomy, the strongest chemo possible, radiation and no promises. My family were wonderful and my friends and coworkers unbelievable. Took 6 weeks off and returned to work as a sixth grade teacher. On my desk was the name of a person who could cover each period if I needed it! Never knew who put it there but was such a comfort!
