Diagnosed with ILC 09/2017. Bilateral mastectomy with PAP Flap reconstruction. Tumor 7cm and a stage 3C. 4 of 6 sentinel nodes were cancerous. Axillary lymph nodes 18 no cancer. Good breast pathology showed there to be carcinoma in situ. Best decision of my life!! Long road ahead with chemo… 16-week dose dense and 28 rounds of Radiation. Neuropathy in my feet. Lymphedema developed 11 months after surgery. I worked every chance I could to keep moving forward and giving me purpose. Happiness is a choice. #gritwithgrace #fierce
