Diagnosed at age 70
I have had annual mammograms for 30 years; at my last mammogram a small lump, stage 1A invasive ductal carcinoma HER2+, was found. I have completed 12 weeks of chemo and 22 rounds of radiation, and I will continue with Herceptin every three weeks until January, one year after I started treatment. I am so thankful for the compassionate doctors and nurses, I am grateful for all the studies done to treat cancer, and I am so blessed with family and friends who supported and prayed for me. No one can do this journey alone. NOW LET’S FIND A CURE!
