Diagnosed at age 62
In August 2023 I was diagnosed with DCIS breast cancer. My surgery was scheduled for September 21, 2023 my surgeon.Dr Incorviti and I decided a double mastectomy so I would not have any reoccurrence of cancer. The surgery was tough. The recovery was even much tougher, but I was strong and got through it all. I’m very grateful for God‘s blessing. I am a cancer survivor with a great surgeon and the blessing from God, I survived. This is not a diagnosis that I thought I would be dealing with. We never know in life what’s coming are way in life . I just focused on moving forward. Great friends reached out during my recovery. Also the Club Hope Foundation in Ellwood city they are fantastic. I attended the club hope foundation in March with other women who had breast cancer. This is a yearly cancer ball. It was beautiful all the hope and love, I was very grateful to the Lord’s blessing….,❤️🙏🎀
